How to Install
How to Install
1. Position the Twistbox
Place your Twistboxes roof box on the roof rack so the stabilization knobs align with the crossbars.
2. Choose your mounting hardware
-
T-bolts: Slide each T-bolt head into the T-slot of your crossbar.
-
U-bolts: Bring the U-bolt up from underneath the bar so the threaded ends sit on each side of the stabilization knob.
3. Attach the Twistboxes brackets
Place a bracket over each stabilization knob and line it up with the T- or U-bolt threads.
4. Secure
Add washers and nuts. Tighten evenly.
- T-bolt method: 4 T-bolts + 4 brackets
- U-bolt method: 4 U-bolts + 8 brackets (two per U-bolt to distribute load)
5. Final checks
Shake test to confirm the box is rigid and stable.
Re-tighten after your first short drive.
